VOLUNTEER POSITIONS

Make us buzz...We need someone to run our social media so people know what’s going on, when it’s going on, where it’s going o, and why it’s going on. Any skills in this area would be most welcome.

Get some exercise...There’s always something to do in the native garden beside and behind the three hangars. The street side area is taken care of by Araluen Cultural Centre staff.

Get down and dusty in the vault...There’s a lot to be done from the ground up in this space to properly store and display the Museum’s collection of artefacts, documents, and images. Experience in this area would be most welcome.

Meet lots of interesting people...The roster covers 2 sessions everyday – 10am to 1pm and 1pm to 4pm. Main duty is to make visitors feel welcome and selling gift shop items. We also ask volunteers to do any obvious tidying/cleaning and report any maintenance issues in the diary. If you enjoy people, you’ll enjoy this.

Flex your creativity...The Museum strives to refresh and create new displays to bring to life Aviation’s great stories. Any skills in this area would be most welcome.

Make us rock...There are occasional milestones and/or launches which the Museum undertakes, as well as wanting to develop the Aviation precinct as an attractive venue for corporate and fundraising events. Any skills in this area would be most welcome.
